Diffrences between Cell Division between plants and animals:

Animals:

  • Contains Centromiers that connect to spindles guiding the movement of chromasomes.
  • In telophase the cell spindles tighten and seperate the chromasomes into 2. Which are then made into 2 new cells upon cytokenisis.

Plants

  • Lack Centromier but instead create prophase band that is made up of microtubes. (Occurs during prophase)
  • Upon Telophase they create a cell plate dividing the 2 nuclei creating 2 new cells.
