Prevent Dynmap Spam

Some server owners may encounter spam messages through a plugin known as Dynmap. It will appear something along these lines in your console

[Dynmap] 194.55.224.41 » {Text of Spam}

Or

WEB:194.55.224.41 » {Text of Spam}

It may appear differently, but its caused by a plugin Dynmap, Which allows messages through the web UI. Its likely someone has placed a bot who is spamming messages through the text box.

Go to your server files and go to your plugins folder

After getting to your plugins folder, enter the dynmap plugin folder.

Once in the folder, locate the “Configurations.txt” file.

Once in the file, edit it and set “Allowwebchat: True” to “Allowwebchat: False” Or in otherword’s replace true to false in the “allowwebchat” property. Restart your server to apply changes
